I had a fantastic stay at a charming historical pub in a lovely village outside of Peterborough. The hotel had excellent heating, updated but in-character rooms, and good soundproofing. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a well-sized bathroom. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast included high-quality food. The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation and parking facilities.

The comfortable bed made for a restful night, and the location near the A1 saved me so much time on my journey. It was great to see that the pub still exuded its charm and warm atmosphere, even after all these years. This place is definitely worth an overnight stopover if you're traveling along the A1. Can't wait to go back in July! The free Wi-Fi, convenient car park, and flat-screen TV in the room were also appreciated.

Great Christmas Stay. We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all the necessary amenities. One of the highlights was the delicious Christmas dinner they served, which exceeded our expectations. The location was also ideal, close to the A1 and easy to find. it was a fantastic experience that made our Christmas truly special.

Limited Parking Space. The only downside we experienced was the limited parking space at the hotel.

Always my first choice. Friendly staff helped with currency. Has everything I need - Free Wi-Fi, parking, security, bar, restaurant. Ideal for a romantic escape.

Slater in the village was a delightful find! The rooms were beautifully decorated, complete with en-suite bathrooms and excellent shower facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The food at the pub was outstanding, with a delicious variety of home-cooked meals to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the best steak and ale pie I've had in a while, and the perfectly cooked vegetables. My partner loved his fish and chips too. The pub had a cozy atmosphere, with a real fire and a great selection of wines and spirits. a lovely experience at Slater!

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at The Collyweston Slater. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

The room I stayed in had a comfortable king size bed, which provided a great night's sleep after a long day of travel. the room was well-maintained and clean, making my stay pleasant overall.

One minor drawback during my stay was the slight ticking noise from the heating system throughout the night. Although it didn't disrupt my sleep significantly, it was noticeable and could potentially be bothersome to light sleepers.
